The Smartlipo MPX™ is the fifth-generation version of Cynosure’s Smartlipo and is a revolutionary and clinically supported technique for removing fat deposits and smoothing skin’s appearance: It works by inserting a tiny, fiber-optic wire with a minuscule laser beam at the tip. Due to its unique Multiplex technology, this laser sequentially delivers two thermal energy wavelengths, allowing it to take advantage of the positive properties of both. Once dissolved, this fat is gently drawn out of the body through a very fine cannula.
