Breakthrough Technology Tightens the Skin
 Recently featured on the Tyra Banks show, Aluma is a radio frequency device that has been cleared to market by the FDA for reduction of wrinkles. The device emits light energy stimulates collagen production in the skin, which in turn, results in firmer skin with fewer wrinkles.
Depending upon the degree of improvement desired, between three and five treatments are usually necessary. Over time, skin condition continues to improve as the old collagen realigns and the body produces newer, stronger and more elastic collagen. In clinical studies, results from Aluma were shown to last up to a year. Follow up treatments can then be performed to maintain results.
Loose skin on the abdomen, back of the upper arm, along the jaw line and under the chin responds particularly well to the Aluma procedure. Persons of all skin types, including those with tanned skin, can be treated.

 Getting the Red Out: New Help for Rosacea
 Persistent redness of the skin affects nearly 10 million Americans, mainly women between the ages of 30 and 50. Rosacea is believed to be hereditary, but can worsen with exposure to various triggers including extreme temperatures, sunlight, stress and certain medications and foods.
Rosacea is embarrassing – in a recent study by the National Rosacea Society, 74% of respondents said they cancel social events during flareups.
In years past, there was little help for those with skin redness. Antibiotics provide some limited benefit, but most rosacea sufferers relied upon covering their skin with layers of heavy makeup. New technology, however, now offers a way to permanently reduce redness.
Beautologie uses the Lumenis One intense pulsed light (IPL) system to target the tiny blood vessels near the surface of the skin. The system selectively heats these vessels, destroying malfunctioning capillaries so that blood flow will be directed to the deeper blood vessels, where it belongs. The body then reabsorbs these damaged cells, naturally eliminating them along with other waste materials.
Treatment is safe, fast and gentle, typically taking less than 15 minutes. In just a few sessions, and sometimes in a single treatment, the appearance can be dramatically improved.

Vaginal Rejuvenation Restores Youthful Muscle Tone
As a result of various factors including aging and childbirth, more than 30 million American women suffer from reduced tone, strength and control of the vaginal muscles. Depending upon the severity, this can lead to urinary incontinence as well as diminished sexual pleasure.
