There are exciting changes underway here at our medical practice, but before I tell you about them, I'm delighted to share our latest news: we have been awarded the "Best of Kern County" designation for the third year in a row by the readers of the Bakersfield Californian. It is immensely gratifying to be considered Bakersfield's best plastic surgery practice by the people who matter most - our patients! Our thanks to all of you who entrusted us with your care - and gave us your vote.

Now, let me share what else is happening…

A New "Face" for Our Practice
One of the most frequent reasons people give for choosing to undergo aesthetic procedures is that they want to look "refreshed," to present themselves to the world as vibrant and vital on the outside as they feel on the inside.

You might say that our medical practice has undergone a similar rejuvenation. We recently gave ourselves a new look by redesigning our graphic identity, adopting a fresh color palette and updated logo. This is the new "face" you will see in our printed materials, this newsletter, our website and signage.

Beautologie
We also gave our practice a new name: Beautologie. The name change evolved from the dramatic growth of my Bakersfield practice.

When I first opened the practice in 2002, I was a solo practitioner - so it seemed appropriate to name the practice after myself. But in the five short years since then, patient volume has increased so much that we've added two more skilled plastic surgeons to our team, along with my brother Milan, a physician specializing in medical aesthetics and internal medicine.

Growth and Expansion
We've acquired and renovated a new building, which now houses our own state-of-the-art surgery center and our popular Shaanti Medi Spa. Plus, we've expanded our menu of services to include holistic health and wellness, helping people optimize their beauty from the inside out.

Given all these changes - all good ones, I might add! - the time seemed right for a new name that would reflect our expanded focus. Our aim was to choose a name that not only conveyed the essence of our practice, but that also was unique and memorable.

The Science of Beauty
"Beautologie" seems to say it all. The suffix "ology" is a Greek word meaning the science of. So our new name, in its most literal sense, means the science of beauty. And from a purely scientific point of view, we take pride in remaining on the forefront of the latest plastic surgery techniques, advances in skincare and non-invasive aesthetic treatment options, and clinically proven health and wellness strategies - all designed to keep you looking and feeling your best.

So, welcome to the "new" Beautologie. Yes, our look has been updated and refreshed, and our name has changed. But one very important thing remains the same, and that's our commitment you, our patient. Achieving outstanding results for you, with careful attention to your wellbeing, comfort and satisfaction, will always be our first priority.
