Can Botox help with Excessive Sweating?
By Dr. Milan Shah
Excessive sweating can be very embarrassing. Whether you suffer from severe underarm sweating or sweaty palms, the impact on your social life can be devastating. Most of us think that antiperspirant and deodorants are the only solution, besides multiple showers each day. Some people even feel forced to wear extra layers of clothing or special pads to try and mask the wetness. People who suffer from severe underarm sweating often do not wear the clothing that they would otherwise wear. They find themselves steering away from light fabrics or sleeveless shirts. Those with excessive palmar sweating will often times avoid shaking hands at all costs.
Finally, there is safe, reliable and well-tolerated means of reducing sweat production that is quickly and easily administered and lasts for months: BOTOX ® injection. BOTOX ®, approved now for several years for the treatment of facial wrinkles, is now FDA-approved for the treatment of hyperhidrosis.

Endermologie Really Works to Fight Cellulite
By Dr. Darshan Shah
Endermologie is a non-invasive procedure used for reducing the appearance of cellulite. Cellulite often shows up as dimpling on the skin, sometimes called the cottage cheese or orange peel look, even in those who are physically fit. The look of cellulite does not necessarily diminish with weight loss. About 90% of women are affected by cellulite after the age of puberty.
Both men and women can suffer from cellulite, but women tend to experience it more frequently. A women’s body is made differently to help them store fat during pregnancy and breast feeding and also to allow the skin to expand during these times. When estrogen levels fluctuate in the body, the skin will retain fluid, connective tissue in the skin hardens, blood and lymphatic circulation is decreased and fat cell storage is favored, causing the development of cellulite.
