
Dr. Charles D. Wong, originally from Arizona, attended the University of Arizona in Tucson where he completed a rigorous course of basic science study in which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with minors in chemistry, math, and physics.
Dr. Wong attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. His clinical clerkships led him to Florida and California, including training at the University of California San Francisco – Fresno program. During his training he |

was fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve the indigenous peoples of Guatemala through medical missionary work.
Dr. Wong’s surgical training began in California at Kern Medical Center / University of California San Diego. Here he excelled in General Surgery and Trauma - Critical Care, taking care of Kern County’s own citizens. He has been honored with the prestigious Bruce S. Helfert, M.D. award given to the outstanding resident surgeon (he is in good company with former awardee Dr. Darshan Shah). In addition, he has been recognized for his excellence and commitment to teaching tomorrow’s young doctors.
Dr. Wong believes in the importance of research and furthering science and has presented his research at many conferences including the American College of Surgeon’s annual meetings. He has published his work in several respected surgical journals.
As an Osteopathic physician (D.O.), Dr. Wong is licensed and medically trained to practice the full scope of medicine. Surgically trained in an allopathic (M.D.) program, Dr. Wong possesses a unique perspective in being able to care for the entire patient holistically, while being able to treat them surgically.
As an avid outdoorsman, photographer, and animal lover, Dr. Wong brings surgical specialty with a down to earth personality to the Beautologie team!
