Dr. Milan Shah began his basic science training at the University of California, Riverside (a top tier California university) where he performed at an accelerated level, beginning his training at the young age of 16. He had previously finished secondary school in only three years.
At the University of Califonia, Riverside he was enrolled in the Biomedical Science Major and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He thereafter graduated with his M.D. degree from the American University of the Caribbean.
Dr. Shah had a multifaceted medical education undergoing clerkship rotations at prestigious institutions such as the University of California Irvine Medical Center and Pomona Valley/ UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. M. Shah then accepted an Internship in Preliminary General Surgery at Kern Medical Center / University of California, San Diego; after which, he began his training in Internal Medicine at Kern Medical Center/ University of California, Los Angeles.
Throughout Dr. M. Shah's training he always received the highest
evaluations and accolades from his preceptors. Dr. M. Shah continued his educational career by training many medical students and residents
in their educational paths. Dr. M. Shah has always been research oriented and has been published in a variety of medical journals and presentations.
Dr. Milan Shah's endeavors include the practice of Anti-Aging and Laser Medicine. Dr. Shah is a Diplomate of Anti-Aging Medicine. He has been certified by the Laser Institute of Beverly Hills & Lumenis Aesthetics in Laser Resurfacing, Photofacials and Laser Hair Removal. He is also a certified physician in Botox administration for a multitude of aesthetic applications. Finally Dr. Shah has been certified in Age Management medicine by Cenegenics, an internationally acclaimed institute for Age Management medicine.
Dr. Shah is currently an instructor for RestylaneTM, DusaTM, and LumenisTM medical aesthetics training other physicians and medical personnel on the application of fillers, laser therapy and skin rejuvenation. Dr. Shah is rated Platinum with RestylaneTM, BotoxTM, and ObagiTM aesthetics which means he performs more RestylaneTM, BotoxTM, and ObagiTM skin treatments than most physicians across the country.
Dr. Shah lectures at international conferences on medical aesthetics
including the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
